Do you offer classes exclusively tailored to beginners?
If you have spun before, but are new to YYC CYCLE, we highly encourage you to sign up for any of our regularly scheduled classes. The beauty of YYC CYCLE is that all of our classes are for ALL levels of fitness. YOU are the one with control over the tension settings on your bike. This allows you to ride at a pace that is suitable to your fitness level. We'll be there, with you, every pedal of the way!
Another option for new riders at YYC CYCLE is our GIVE'R class on Fridays at 6:30 pm. The drop in rate is $10, with all proceeds going to our quarterly GIVE'R charity, which is voted on by YOU the YYC Bikergang! For more information on our GIVE'R charities, click here.
How does Spin work-out the entire body?
Spin doesn’t just work your legs! At YYC Cycle we incorporate an upper-body weight segment that will tone and strengthen your arms, abs and chest. Each class will allow you to burn up to 900 calories, strengthening your cardiovascular system while toning muscles.
What sort of equipment do you use?
YYC Cycle offers nothing but the best! Our studio is equipped with top of the line Schwinn A.C. Performance indoor cycles. These bikes are engineered to simulate the feel of real bikes on real road conditions. With each class purchase, you will be provided with clip in LOOK Keo shoes.
How do I make a reservation online? Do I need an account?
Yes. All riders will need to register an account through our online reservation system. This will help coordinate your schedule, reserve a class and access your personal account. You can even book your favorite bike in advance. Cool, right? Remember, bikes and classes are reserved on a first come first served basis, and are available up to 7 days before the party.
